The Bergen County Emergency Rental Assistance Program is open on June 14th for applications from tenants whose household incomes are at or below 80% area median income (AMI). Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis while program funding is available or up until the deadline of July 23rd 2021, whichever comes first. Landlords may register at any time.
Important Notice: Applying for the ERAP is free and one-on-one application assistance for tenants is available in English and Spanish by contacting the ERAP Call Center 855-203-6952. Please be wary of any request for payment to apply to this program.

New Jersey Emergency Rental Assistance Program is intended to assist renters and landlords directly impacted by COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic. This program was created to direct federal funds in a manner that provides immediate relief, prevents homelessness, and supports long-term community health and stability.
